As you may have already noticed - I am now CurryDelicious on LiveJournal (guess where I got the name from, *lol!*), so from now on if you go to alyssenine, you'll be forwarded to currydelicious.livejournal.com

P.S.: I also "revamped" my layout with a new colour scheme to match the new background image I found, and since everything looks all desi-inspired, I also created a new set of corresponding icons. ;)

a short note for LJ friends, or whoever pays attention to my comings and goings around here...

... I plan on changing my livejournal name sometime in the next month.

I won't say to what yet, or precisely when its going to happen - but its going to depend on money because I need to see if (a) I need to wait 'til next month's bill to charge the token to, or (b) if I can afford to do it this bill-month, although that's not likely because I feel I've overcharged a bit...

So yeah. When I do it, I'll just post the info into the journal and on the user info page.

If anyone has had experience changing their livejournal name, please let me know, I need tips! :)

UPDATE 01-31-09:

...Kinda obvious, but last week or the week before, I randomly decided to change the colouring of my LJ, and did. Yay. Like the colours? Its an admittedly cliched combination - black white red - but its one of my favourite combos. But I also love purple. Hmm, should try to put some purple in...

...So I changed my icon -- and then decided I should try to match my layout to it. Now, two days later, I am freaking tired. Ugh! ME, who my RL friends call the 'Customization Queen' (or 'fussy'. either way.), is sick of messing with it. Forget it. Maybe I'll fix it later, when I feel like it. Gah.

Hey guys.....no, this doesn't mean I'm fully incorporated with LJ yet... ¬¬" But! I *AM* starting to weed through its settings...that's good, right? *wince* Yeah... Right, my point for the so-called "update": I am currently going through my friends/watch list, and have noticed several purged journals. Being as I never fiddled with my LJ settings, I never knew when they were deleted. So, I am asking for your help in finding out what happened to these journals:

bloodybabyblue (Saara Salmi, also on deviantART with the same username)
desiderata_fic (a Harry Potter fanfic archive, community or ficjournal)
gp_fanfiction (...can't recall this one at all. ¬¬")
hold_me_ss (a Sakura/Syaoran community)
noriki (a regular user, methinks)
renewedself (a Yuki/Machi community)

...A couple of them might be communities, I'm not sure. The one I'm most concerned about at the moment is desiderata_fic, which might've been a fanfic archive, so there goes those links... :( If anyone recognizes these, or knows what happened to them, pleasepleasePLEASE let me know. Thank you~~~

Hey, people. (...whoever's reading this...lol...) Hmm, nothing really to say about me; I'm a full-time university student, outwardly normal and mouse-like (right) but with a real crooked bent inside...(*ebil*) I think that pretty much sums up my basic personality makeup. Yeah. Oh, and I'm a recent entree to the world of cybercommunities, so I'm a newbie all-round.

I created this account a while back as means of being able to see what my friends have put on theirs, and promptly forgot I created it; later, when I realized that I'd been to various LJs where people put up stuff to show/archive, I unearthed this account and basically use it as a sort of...LJ bookmarks-thingy. *ducks flying veggies thrown by irate and dedicated LJ users/purists*
